COMSOFT is a successful supplier and consultant to the Air Traffic Management sector. Today practically all European Air Navigation Service Providers are amongst COMSOFT’s customers. COMSOFT is EUROCONTROL’s industrial partner for the ARTAS tracker and offers outstanding maintenance, support and continued development services on behalf of EUROCONTROL and the constantly growing community of ARTAS users, comprising nearly 30 ANSPs.

COMSOFT offers interested Air Navigation Service Providers standardised and field-proven ARTAS training programmes as well as customised courses tailored to their needs. Training courses are continually refined and updated to keep up with the latest ARTAS developments.

All training courses are carried out by a team of senior ARTAS specialists all of who have several years’ experience in ARTAS development and maintenance.

Our courses address customer needs and aim at different levels of expertise, including management staff, Level A/B maintenance staff and LAMOS (Local ARTAS Maintenance and Operational Support) staff.

Our training includes a mix of theoretical and practical course components, course handouts, exercises and, as an option, exams. At the end of the course each trainee receives a Training Certificate, identifying him or her as an ARTAS operator or maintenance personnel.

Courses are organized as Standard Training and Advanced Training. The following chart shows the links between Standard and Advanced Training.

The trainees have to pass the Standard Training courses to proceed to the Advanced Training Course for in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge.
