User-friendly PROFIBUS configuration tool

Karlsruhe, April 2005 – COMSOFT GmbH, PROFIBUS specialist from Karlsruhe, Germany, introduces CONFIGURATOR II. The modern and powerful PROFIBUS configuration tool supports the user in managing complex PROFIBUS details and adjustments.

The CONFIGURATOR II supports a full, graphical GSD- file based DP-Slave configuration as well as the comfortable compilation of OPC-Tags. Powerful and extensive download, analysis and control functions permit an efficient start and check- up of the PROFIBUS DP network. The compiled PROFIBUS configuration is stored in XML format that allows an easy integration into third-party tools.

The tool supports all COMSOFT PROFIBUS DP Master products, such as the PC board DF PROFI II, available as PCI, Compact PCI and PC104+ and the Gateway FNL.
