SNL2-E Ethernet/RS232/RS485 Gateway

Karlsruhe, November 2004 – The approved gateway SNL2-E by COMSOFT provides an optimal connection between serial interfaces and Ethernet networks. The integration of lower automation levels into the management and planning level is absolutely trouble-free.

SNL2-E allows the connection of two serial end devices running completely independent from each other with one of the many available protocol drivers. Both interfaces reach rates up to 1 Mbit/s in synchronous operation mode.

Access to the serial interfaces is possible from any PC in the network via a TCP/IP socket interface. This guarantees complete independence from the used PC operating system. For Windows as well as Unix operating systems a DF-board compatible interface is available.
