Karlsruhe, April 2005 – The OPC-Server by COMSOFT combines Windows standard products from the automation and process control area.

The COMSOFT OPC-Server provides optimal performance and includes a very powerful configuration tool for the operational set up of the connected communication line and for the definition of the required server tags.

The integrated test and diagnostic tools allow fast and efficient trouble shooting. An OPC-client application, also included in the scope of delivery, can test the actual server configuration with regards to functionality.

For use in safety-critical applications, the OPC-Server supports, in connection with COMSOFT PROFIBUS boards, the realisation of redundant DP master concepts.
